The Registrar of the University of Jos, Rejoice James-Songden, PhD has issued a disclaimer to a fake Admission letter, purportedly signed by her being peddled in the public space.

Members of the general public are advised to beware of such misleading information.

Mrs. Victoria Mangut Mankilik made history, as she assumes duty as the first female Bursar of the University of Jos. She formally took over from Mr. Philip Fada Umbugala whose tenure ends on 14 February 2026.

Present at the event were the Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic Professor Joshua Pam Chollom, senior members of the Bursary, Audit, and the Chief Security Officer of the University.

This Award was given in recognition of the institution’s invaluable contributions to the development of the State, and nation at large.
