Admission Requirements for Master of Science (MSc) in Veterinary Anatomy:

Admission requirements are as stipulated in the Postgraduate Handbook of the University of Jos, and in accordance with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine guidelines. In addition to the above, the specific requirements of the Department of Veterinary Anatomy stated below are applicable:

Master of Science (MSc) in Veterinary Anatomy:

        1. The candidate must possess a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from a recognised Veterinary Council of Nigeria-accredited/approved Veterinary programme OR
        2. The candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Human Anatomy from a recognised University, with a minimum of Second Class (Upper Division) grade.

Admission Requirements for Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Veterinary Anatomy

        1. The candidate must possess a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from a recognized Veterinary Council of Nigeria-accredited/approved Veterinary programme
        2. In addition to the above, the candidate must also possess a Master’s degree (MSc) in Veterinary Anatomy from a recognized University and must have obtained a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 5-grade point scale, or 3.0 on a 4-grade point scale in the Master’s degree programme OR
        3. External candidate must have undergone a successful conversion from the MPhil/PhD programme.
