ENTOMOLOGICAL SOCIETY OF NIGERIA (ESN) JOS-VOM BRANCH

The 2025 ESN Conference Goes Hybrid! Hosted by the Jos-Vom Branch | University of Jos |

1st – 4th October, 2025

We are excited to announce that the 2025 Entomological Society of Nigeria (ESN) Conference, hosted by the Jos-Vom Branch, will now be held in a hybrid format. This means that participants can join us either physically in Jos or virtually from anywhere in the world.

Why Hybrid?
The LOC has made these arrangements to provide flexibility and inclusivity for authors who may not be able to attend the conference in person. This inclusive approach ensures access to the full conference experience regardless of location.

Presenting Virtually?
Authors who wish to present virtually should indicate this when submitting their abstracts. Virtual presentation options will be considered for abstracts that meet the conference's review criteria.

Virtual Participation Includes:

• Live streaming of all conference sessions daily (from opening to closing)
• Virtual Video Presentation – Present via a pre-recorded video.
• Virtual Poster Presentation – Submit a poster and optionally present your poster with a 3-minute introductory video.

Virtual presentation opportunities for accepted abstracts will be available before, during and after the conference on the ESN/conference website, enabling all participants to have access to all virtual presentations during and after the event. This will avoid any limitations linked to time zone differences.

Like the in-person participants, virtual authors will receive a participation certificate which they can download online.

We are committed to making the 2025 ESN Conference accessible, engaging, and impactful for all attendees.
