Profile of the Faculty

The Faculty of Education is a dynamic hub of intellectual growth and professional development. It offers diverse programs across six departments, each contributing uniquely to the advancement of knowledge and practice in education:

Arts Education – advancing pedagogy in language, literature, and the creative arts, while promoting cultural identity and intellectual growth.

Educational Foundations – focusing on philosophy, psychology, sociology, and policy studies in education, providing the theoretical backbone for effective teaching and learning.

Social Science Education – preparing educators in economics, geography, political science, and related fields, equipping them to foster civic responsibility and social development.

Science and Technology Education – training teachers in mathematics, sciences, and technology, with emphasis on innovation, inquiry, and global competitiveness.

Physical and Health Education – promoting wellness, sports, and health education, while nurturing professionals who contribute to holistic human development.

Special Education and Rehabilitation Science – dedicated to inclusive education, training specialists who support learners with diverse needs, and advancing rehabilitation practices that empower individuals to thrive.
