DISCLAIMER ON RESCHEDULING OF SECOND SEMESTER EXAMINATIONS

The attention of the Management of the University of Jos has been drawn to a fake and misleading Internal Memo being circulated on Social Media titled: Senate Decision: Rescheduling of Examinations, purportedly emanating from the office of the Registrar, announcing the rescheduling of final examinations from Monday 10^th August 2026 to 24^th August, 2026.

The Management of the University of Jos wishes to inform the general public that the Memo is fake, misleading, malicious, and to state categorically that the University of Jos has not rescheduled second semester examinations. 

For avoidance of any iota of doubt, Second semester Examinations commenced on Monday 10^th August, 2026.

The University wishes to warn miscreants who relish in sharing false and misleading information about the University to desist from that immediately, as it will leave no stone unturned in ensuring they are fished out and penalized.

The general public is hereby advised to make use of the University of Jos website when dealing with matters concerning the University, so as to avoid falling into the hands of miscreants.
