UNIJOS MANAGEMENT COMMISERATES WITH CHANCELLOR, EMIR OF ZAZZAU AFTER FIRE OUTBREAK
The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Jos, Prof. Tanko Ishaya, FBCS, FNCS, led the University Management on a condolence visit to the Chancellor of the University of Jos, His Highness Mallam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, CFR, LLD, the Emir of Zazzau, at his Zaria palace.
The visit was to commiserate with the Chancellor and his family over the fire incident that gutted their family house.
Receiving the delegation, the Chancellor expressed profound appreciation to the University community for standing with him during this difficult time. He noted that although property was completely destroyed, no life was lost, for which he gave thanks to Almighty God.
He further requested the Vice-Chancellor to convey his gratitude to the University community for the uncommon show of love and solidarity.
