Professor Nwoga Charles Nnaemeka, MBBS, FMC Psych, M.Sc. (Public Health), is a Professor of Psychiatry,  Consultant Psychiatrist Specialist in Addiction Psychiatry and Trauma and Public Health Expert

Professor Nwoga Charles Nnaemeka is a Professor of Psychiatry with specialization in Addiction Psychiatry, trauma care, and public health. He obtained his MBBS from the University of Nigeria in 2003, Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria in Psychiatry (FMC Psych, 2014), and M.Sc. in Public Health from the National Open University of Nigeria in 2024.

He serves in the Faculty of Clinical Sciences, where he teaches Psychiatry and CNS Pharmacology, and contributes to medical education, research, and clinical practice. His academic and professional interests focus on addiction psychiatry, trauma management, and the integration of public health principles into mental health care.

Professor Nwoga combines clinical expertise with research and community engagement, advancing evidence-based approaches to improve mental health outcomes and strengthen psychiatric services in Nigeria.
