Professor Patricia Wade, MBBS, FMCoph, FICS, FPaed, Dip Hmg is a Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Jos and Consultant Paediatric Ophthalmologist at the Jos University Teaching Hospital, Jos Nigeria.

Professor Wade obtained her MBBS from the University of Jos, followed by postgraduate fellowship training in Ophthalmology, and further subspecialization in Paediatric Ophthalmology.

She began his academic career at the University of Jos in 2000 as Lecturer I and rose through the ranks to become a full Professor in 2016. Over the course of her career, she has served as Head of Department on two occasions and as Dean of the Faculty.

Professor Wade is actively involved in teaching, research, and clinical practice. She has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications and continues to contribute to advancing paediatric ophthalmology, medical education, and research in Nigeria and beyond.
