Dr. Ramyil Alice Venyir, MBBS, MSc, FWACS, FMCOpht, FLVPEI, is a Reader (Associate Professor) of Ophthalmology at the University of Jos and Consultant Ophthalmologist at Jos University Teaching Hospital. She obtained her MBBS from the University of Jos in 1998, Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS, 2009), Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria in Ophthalmology (FMCOpht, 2009), MSc in Public Health for Eye Care from the University of London (2013), and Fellowship in Oculoplastic Surgery, Orbit, and Oncology from LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, India (2017).

Her areas of specialization include Oculoplastic Surgery, Orbital and Ocular Oncology, and Public Health for Eye Care. She combines advanced clinical expertise with public health approaches to improve eye care delivery, research, and training.

Dr. Venyir is actively engaged in medical education, research, and patient care, contributing to the advancement of ophthalmology in Nigeria and beyond.
