Professor Lohfa Bali Chirdan, MBBS, FWACS, FACS, M.Sc., Professor of Surgery | Consultant Paediatric Surgeon
Professor Lohfa Bali Chirdan is a Professor of Surgery and Consultant Paediatric Surgeon with a special interest in neonatal surgery and surgical education. He obtained his MBBS, Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS), Fellowship of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), and M.Sc., reflecting a strong foundation in clinical practice and academic scholarship.
His research focuses on global paediatric surgery and neonatal surgical diseases, with particular emphasis on advancing surgical care for newborns and improving surgical education. Through his clinical expertise, teaching, and research, Professor Chirdan is committed to enhancing paediatric surgical outcomes and contributing to the development of sustainable, evidence-based surgical practices worldwide.
