Mahwel John Bulus is a dedicated legal Scholar and Practitioner with extensive experience in legal education and practice. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree in 2009 and a Master of Laws (LL.M) in 2015, both from the University of Jos. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D) in Law at the same institution, specializing in Comparative Forensic Evidence Law.
He was called to the Nigerian Bar and is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria since 2010, he has served as a Permanent Academic Staff member in the Department of Commercial Law at the University of Jos, where he has contributed significantly to legal scholarship and the development of future legal professionals.
He teaches Law of Evidence, Logic and Philosophy of Thought, showcasing a broad academic interest that bridges practical law and critical reasoning.
Mahwel’s research interests lie in the intersection of Law, Forensic Science, and Legal Philosophy, with a strong Commitment to advancing legal education and justice delivery in Nigeria.
