Holds a doctorate degree in Law with bias in dispute settlement mechanism, Medical Law and Jurisprudence.  He is a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, a professional negotiator and mediator and Neutral Public.  As a teacher and public speaker of choice, he has spoken at conferences, seminars, workshops and various consultative fora.  Otor has served as rapporteur in many International and Local Conferences and is a consultant to many institutions and organizations.  Currently, he teaches Law at the University of Jos and has authored books and numerous publications and international Local Academy Journals.  He is a Reader (Associate Professor) of Law and has served as external assessor to several tertiary institutions and reviewer and editor to both local and international journal publication outlets.  He can be reached via otore@unijos.edu.ng , otore@nigerianbar.ng, and otorenochibu@gmail.com
