Alphonsus Okoh Alubo, SAN has taught at the University of Jos since age of 24. 

Professor Alphonsus Okoh Alubo, SAN is Professor of Comparative Criminal Law and Procedure at the University of Jos. A. Okoh Alubo, SAN, has taught law and examined students at various universities in Nigeria, including Benue State University, Makurdi, Kogi State University, Ayingba, Police Academy Wudil – Kano, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nasarawa State University, Plateau State University, Bokkos and Baze University, Abuja with dedication and commitment.  In the course of his academic odyssey Professor A. Okoh Alubo, SAN, supervised and graduated up 40 Ph. D candidates and a hotch potch of LLM and LL.B students.  The supervision of the Ph. Ds done in three different universities.  Professor Alubo has been Editor to so many law journals.  A. Okoh Alubo, SAN, has authored books on 5 Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Administration, Company Law, Legal Research Methodology (all of them assessed and approved TETFUND for Publication, which on-going.  The books are all in the 5^th and 6^th Editions and have been widely read.  Professor Alphonsus Okoh Alubo, is a prolific and prodigious scholar, who has published over 120 scholarly works as chapters in books and articles in Journals.  Professor Alubo, is still writing on different areas of law as the country-Nigeria, keeps evolving.  Professor A. Okoh Alubo, continues to speak in Conferences and deliver papers.  A. Okoh Alubo, SAN, is the current National Legal Convener of Academic Staff Union of Universities and also the Core Chair of the NBA Committee on Lawyers in Academics 2025.
