Profile: James Aondowase Ashiekpe holds a PhD, M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Mass Communication from Benue State University, Makurdi. He is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication, Associate Lecturer, Centre for Gender & Women Studies, University of Jos, Nigeria; and holds a visiting position at the Plateau State University, Bokkos. He was appointed Senior Lecturer, in the Department of Journalism and Media Studies at the Kampala International University, Uganda between 2018 and 2020 on a Technical Aid Programme.

Research Interest: Public relations, digital media, behavioural change communication, media constructions and communication cultures, and integrated marketing communications.
