Profile: Dongvel Maimako (Lecturer II) is an academic with a passion for research and studies in Journalism, Media Studies and Youth Development. She holds a Bachelor’s degree and a master’s Degree in Mass Communication from the University of Jos. She is currently a PhD student in the Department of Mass Communication, University of Jos and her research focus is the new media. She is highly passionate about the intersection between intellectual discourse, governance and youth development. Dongvel believes in fostering an inclusive society where critical thinking and open dialogue are encouraged.
