Stephen Dakup was born to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Daboer on 27th May, 1987 in Kopmoejak, Kwalla, Quaan-Pan LGA Plateau State. His academic journey started between 1995 and 2007 when he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) at LGEA Primary School Kopmoejak, Kwalla, Quaan-Pan LGA. He further obtained a Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) in 2007 at Government Secondary School Kwalla. He later obtained his first degree BSc. Ed. Social Studies Education in 2014 in the prestigious University of Jos. He also bagged Masters in Education and Social Studies in 2022 from the same University of Jos and also a PhD. Student in the same University of Jos. He is a member of Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria (MTRCN), Social Studies Educationists Association of Nigeria (SOSAN) and Social Studies and Civic Education Association of Nigeria (SOSCEAN).

His community Development projects include mentoring rendering service to humanity, believes in fairness and strong advocate of justice and fair play. During his NYSC in 2015, He received Merit Honours Award of selfless Service from Taraba State NYSC Governing Council and nominated for presidential award in the same year. He also received Commendation of outstanding performance from Management College of Education-Zing in 2015.He has more than 25 research papers with about 15 publications in reputable national and international journals, skilled in research article writing and a consultant in Thesis and dissertations. He is married with kids and lives in Jos, Plateau State Nigeria.
