ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR M.Phil/Ph.D

For M.phil/Ph.D in International Relations, candidates must possess a Masters’ Degree in relevant field and whose weighted score average (WSA) must not be less than 60%. Also a minimum of second class lower degree from a recognized university in Political Science, Economics, History, Sociology and any relevant degree is required. Candidate must also possess a pass at credit level in O’level in English Language

M.Phil/Ph.D Political Economy and Development Studies candidates will be required to possess a Masters degree in relevant field and whose weighted score average (WSA) must not be less than 60%.

While M.phil/Ph.D Public Administration candidates must have a minimum of second class lower degree in Political Science, Public Administration and whose weighted score Average (WSA) must not be less than 60%.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR M.Sc.

Candidates for M.Sc. International Relations and Strategic Studies must possess a minimum of Second Class lower degree from a recognized University in Political Science, Sociology, Law, Economics, History, Mass Communication. Candidates must also possess a pass at credit level in O’level English Language

For M.Sc. Public Policy and Administration, candidate with at least a second class Honour degree upper division from a recognized university and with cumulative Grade point Average (CGPA) of not less than 3.00 in Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, Sociology will be accepted.
