Dr. SAMUEL KWARPUN DAWET MUTFWANG is a Doctor of Agricultural Economics and Leadership Education, specializes in Agricultural Leadership and Communication. He was born on 3rd April, 1952 in Ampang West, Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State, Nigeria. He had his primary education in Mangun LEA’s Jannaret and went to Gindiri Teachers Training College in Gindiri, plateau State where he obtained Teacher Grade II Certificate in 1973. He proceeded to College of Education Sokoto, Nigeria, and graduated as an NCE holder in 1979. He also went to Langston University, Oklahoma USA and obtained B.Sc. Degree in Agricultural Economics (Honours) in 1985. He later proceeded to Oklahoma State University, Stillwater for Master Degree (MSc) for Agricultural Education Research and Extension in the year 1986. Then he proceeded to The University of Nebraska, Lincoln USA in the 1987 for Agricultural Community Resources where he obtained his Ph.D. degree in Agricultural Leadership Community Resources in 1991. Dr. Mutfwang started working as a class teacher at Limankara Primary School, Limankara Gwoza LGA , Borno State in 1973 to 1975 then he took up a teaching appointment at Katul primary school under Pankshin Local Government 1975 to 1976 then later was promoted the position of Headmaster at Asa Langkang primary School 1976 to 1977. He was later employed by plateau State Ministry of Education and taught at Boys Secondary school Gindiri Plateau State as NCE holder, 1979 to 1983. He also lectured at the glorious University of Nebraska as a graduate assistant lecturer 1987 to 1991. He was also employed as a senior lecturer at FCE Pankshin in the year 2010 to 2918 then He left the service and got employed by the University of Jos as Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension, University of Jos where he is currently working till date. In the recent time, he has been appointed as an adjunct Professor by the Urban Ministry Institute in Wichita Kansasa USA in the year 2009 till date.
